Today I’ve got a gorgeous green polish to show you 🙂 This is “Bereginya” from Anna Gorelova by Dance Legend. It belongs to the new winter collection and I bought this at Hypnotic Polish. Read the rest of this entry
piCture pOlish “Electric Dream” and my candy
“Electric Dream” from piCture pOlish is a bright candy pink that goes perfectly with the pink Crazy sours Skittles 😀 2 coats are enough IRL but I see now for the pictures it would have been better with 3 coats.
Of course I couldn’t leave my mani plain so I re-did my ring finger with “Coral Reef” as a base and added a cyclone vinyl from Twinkled T and a coat of “Holiday” on top. All polishes are from piCture pOlish.
Holiday is a gorgeous holo glitter/flakie topper that adds sparks to every mani 🙂
I’m sorry that I haven’t posted as much lately but it’s been crazy busy at work and I haven’t really got the time to write blog posts, but if you follow me on Instagram you could see my daily manis there at least. You can find me as @nillanpillan 😉
As an old ballet dancer and a ballet lover it’s natural that I love everything ballet themed and this stunning blue holographic polish from A England’s collection Ballerina is no exception.
“Dancing with Nureyev” is a violet-blue shade, a soft romantic blue yet very sophisticated and very suitable to a ballet theme. Depending on the lighting the shade looks violet or blue and the scattered/prismatic holo particles give another dimension to the polish.
The formula is stunning, as all polishes from A England. This is two coats, but I think you could get away with only one if you apply it a little thicker.
To emphasize the romantic feeling I’ve added a little stamping on my ring fingers, the swirly tree pattern is from Moyou Mother Nature 11 and I used Mentality “Opaque White”.
Mentality “Opaque White” is a white stamping polish that’s pearlescent or a bit on the silver side and not that matte white I’m used to with stamping polishes. I think it gives the stamping a very elegant feel to it.
You can find both A England and Mentality Nail Polish at Edgy Polish, as well as some Moyou London stamping plates and rhinestones.
Green Wednesday at Vacker & Underbar and today I’m joining with a gorgeous flakie from Colors by Llarowe named “The Silence”. This flakie shifts in orange and green and is really beautiful over an orange color or a green one. As my base I have a green polish from MIYO named “Lemon”. This polish was quite sheer so I had to paint 3 coats to get it opaque. I don’t know much about the brand, I just grabbed a few bottles at a sale 😉
Anyway “Lemon” is just my base for the main act, “The Silence”. At swatch pictures I’ve seen it over burnt orange and dark plum but not over green and I really like this effect, especially with matte top coat on. Let’s mattify all the flakies!!
I don’t know about you but I think this mani is really nice and full of spring feelings. Lovely!
Today I have a deep blue stunning polish to show you. This is “The Mercury” from the Japanese brand Estessimo TinS. I’ve got this polish as a gift from my sweet Japanese friend on Instagram.
All nail polishes from Estessimo TinS are infused with avocado oil as emolliant and aloe extract as moisturizer. They are also Toluene and DBP free. You can find Estessimo TinS online at Mei Mei’s Signatures.
The Mercury is a deep blue infused with holographic glitters in different sizes. It dries textured due to the heavy amount of glitter so for a glossy finish you’ll need to add top coat. Today I wanted the textured finish so I skipped the t.c.
On my ring finger I added some bubbles. I used Mundo de Unãs “Lavender” and a Vivid Lacquer plate.
Today is February 14th also known as Valentine’s day ❤ and of course I’ve got manis to match the day.
First I did a mani with piCture pOlish “Scarlett” and “Ripple Ivory” from & other Stories with a stamped heart chain. I used Moyou plate Princess 10 and Scarlett for the stamping. Cute and very appropriate for Valentine’s.
But when I smudged two nails on my cindy I decided to redo my nails a little bit more edgy but still in the theme of Valentine’s.
Mani no.2 is made with piCture pOlish “Mad Magenta” and a glitter heart topper from Homei, 2P or “A wish of the princess”.
Have a great Valentine’s!! ❤ ❤ ❤
I’ve been looking for a dark red to red thermal for a while and I was very happy when I found a swatch photo of “Poison Apple” from Black Cat Lacquer. There was the polish I was dreaming of! I browsed around and found it at Llarowe (because Black Cat Lacquer doesn’t offer international shipping).
“Poison Apple” is a jelly thermal polish with scattered holo particles in it. It goes from darkest red when cold to bright red when warm. The tips stays dark almost the whole time and I just love the effect that gives to my nails! I’m so in love with this polish!! It’s like an effortless black and red gradient 😀
