Today is February 14th also known as Valentine’s day ❤ and of course I’ve got manis to match the day.
piCture pOlish “Scarlett”
First I did a mani with piCture pOlish “Scarlett” and “Ripple Ivory” from & other Stories with a stamped heart chain. I used Moyou plate Princess 10 and Scarlett for the stamping. Cute and very appropriate for Valentine’s.
Cute Valentine’s mani
But when I smudged two nails on my cindy I decided to redo my nails a little bit more edgy but still in the theme of Valentine’s.
Valentine’s mani no. 2
Mani no.2 is made with piCture pOlish “Mad Magenta” and a glitter heart topper from Homei, 2P or “A wish of the princess”.
Homei 2P is such a cute heart shaped glitter topper
It’s soon Valentine’s day and I thought it was time for some pink nails 🙂
Ahmaaaaahzing pink! “For the love of Lisa” by Hare Polish
This is Hare Polish “For the love of Lisa”, a gorgeous pink jelly with different sizes of matte glitter and also iridescent flakies! This is so gorgeous! This is the first polish from Hare Polish I try and I’m not disappointed 🙂 I ordered three bottles when Nicole had a restock in her Etsy shop. The best way to find out when she restocks is to follow Hare Polish on either Instagram or Facebook.
Gorgeous pink glitter infused with iridescent flakes as well
For this mani I painted three thin coats of “For the love of Lisa” and for my accent I first painted two coats of a plain pink (“Bubblegum Pink” from Apolosophy). I applied fast drying top coat on my ring finger, waited 20-25 minutes for it to dry and then applied swirl vinyls from Twinkled T, painted a fairly thick coat of “For the love of Lisa” and immediately removed the vinyls. After a while I applied top coat.
“For the love of Lisa” dries semi-matte. I first applied “Glitter Food Top Coat” from Nail Pattern Boldness to even out the texture and then my favorite Glisten & Glow “HK Girl Fast drying top coat”.
Today I’m wearing the second Lynnderella polish I bought at Norway Nails a couple of weeks ago. I saw this polish on Instagram about a month ago and knew I had to find it! It’s very often a nail pic triggers my desire and I just have to hunt the polish … Sometimes you get disappointed when you wear the polish your self but this time I’m not disappointed at all.
I love mint colors!
Lynnderella “Attitude Adjust-Mint” has a very sheer finish so I have layered it over two coats of mint green China Glaze “Keep Calm, Paint On”. Over that I painted two thin coats of “Attitude Adjust-Mint” and finished with top coat (HK Girl from Glisten & Glow).
I’m wearing grey today so I wanted to have matching nails 🙂 I love to match my nails with my clothes, or do I match my clothes to my nails, I think it’s the last 😀
For this mani I have used OPI “Dark side of the Mood” and Glam Polish “Pentacle” as an accent. “Dark side of the mood” is part of OPI’s 50 shades of grey collection. It is a smoky dark grey, almost black but grey polish, it has a quite sheer formula though it’s a dark color, I have three coats on the pictures. Maybe you can get away with two but I wanted full opacity so I painted three. Otherwise it’s a nice creme like OPI’s use to be. Glam Polish “Pentacle”is a dark grey jelly filled with holographic glitter. The formula is great, two coats plus top 🙂

I tried to hold both polish bottles, I have too small hands … lol
This week it’s time for new years nails in last week of December’s weekly nail art challenge. I’ve created my design with holographic and glitter polishes as well as some freehand painting (oh boy, do I suck at freehand painting 😛 )
Week 4: New Years
The polishes I used is: Butter London “Pearly Queen” (as underwear for the holo), KBShimmer “In bare form”, Black Dahlia Lacquer “Sparklefest” (at least I believe it’s “Sparklefest”, my bottle is without name label) and Depend “Champagne Night” (nr 4039).

Simply Beautiful “Smaug’s Breath” and OPI “Up front & Personal”
I’ve got nail mail today, it was my order from Simply Beautiful (www.simplybeautiful1973.bigcartel.com) that arrived. I only ordered one polish, but what a polish!! “Smaug’s Breath” is a stunning glitter mix of holographic gold, red and orange glitters and the clear base is filled with tiny holographic gold glitter. Pure glitter joy!!
The formula was quite good for a glitter this dense. I did two coats with some dabbing of glitters to cover more bald spots after first coat.
I paired this stunning glitter with an equal stunning golden champagne polish – OPI “Up front & personal” and I’m quite happy with the outcome. A really sparkling and festive mani suitable for a holiday party or just to cheer up a dull and grey Monday!! 😀

Hmm, I got a rogue little hair showing in the pictures 😛 Don’t you just hate when that happens?!
I’ve bought two glitters from Mavalas new collection “Magic Stardust”. Magic Saphir (139) and Magic Sari (143). Both glitters are stunning and very appropriate for this season or when ever you’d like some bling.
Magic Saphir is a mix of blue, purple, magenta and silver glitter. Magic Sari is a mix of red, pink, orange and green glitter.
You can wear both glitters as toppers layered over another shade or on its own.
Mavala “Magic Saphir” on my ring finger, three coats for total opacity. Paired with OPI “Do you have this color in Stock-holm?”
Mavala “Magic Sari” on my ring finger, two thin coats over OPI “Red fingers & Mistletoes”.
