Vampy nails

Sadly this shade is discontinued/LE so the only chance you have to get your hands on this beauty is a destash or on Ebay etc. But if you come accross it I definitely recomend you to buy it!!

Two easy coats, and perfect finish like every other shade from Lilypad Lacquer I’ve tried. I enjoyed this shade a lot when I wore it.

Dancing with Nureyev

A England Dancing with Nureyev

A England “Dancing with Nureyev”

As an old ballet dancer and a ballet lover it’s natural that I love everything ballet themed and this stunning blue holographic polish from A England’s collection Ballerina is no exception.

A England Dancing with Nureyev

“Dancing with Nureyev” is a violet-blue shade, a soft romantic blue yet very sophisticated and very suitable to a ballet theme. Depending on the lighting the shade looks violet or blue and the scattered/prismatic holo particles give another dimension to the polish.

A England Dancing with Nureyev

A romantic and elegant violet-blue

The formula is stunning, as all polishes from A England. This is two coats, but I think you could get away with only one if you apply it a little thicker.

To emphasize the romantic feeling I’ve added a little stamping on my ring fingers, the swirly tree pattern is from Moyou Mother Nature 11 and I used Mentality “Opaque White”.

Stamping with Mentality Opaque White and Moyou Mother Nature 11

Mentality “Opaque White” is a white stamping polish that’s pearlescent or a bit on the silver side and not that matte white I’m used to with stamping polishes. I think it gives the stamping a very elegant feel to it.

You can find both A England and Mentality Nail Polish at Edgy Polish, as well as some Moyou London stamping plates and rhinestones.

Black Dahlia Lacquer "Wild Orchid"

Black Dahlia Lacquer “Wild Orchid”

Today I’ve got a gorgeous orchid colored polish from Black Dahlia Lacquer to show you. It’s called “Wild orchid” and it’s a pinkish purple or purplish pink 😀 No, orchid purple is the best term, I think! Anyway, it’s a stunning color and it’s a holographic polish so I’m in love! I saw a swatch of this polish about two weeks ago and just knew I had to get my hands on it. So glad I did!

It’s part of their new Valentine’s day blogger collaboration, it’s total 6 shades in this collection.

Yummie purple!

The formula is great but I needed 3 coats to get full opacity. Maybe you could get away with 2 coats but I did 3 quite thin coats.

You can order Black Dahlia Lacquer from their own website or on Etsy.

Cirque "Cerrillos"

Cirque “Cerrillos”

Today I have a gorgeous turquoise polish to show you – “Cerrillos” from Cirque Colors. I bought this in June last year and haven’t worn it until now(!) I ask myself why? because it’s absolutely beautiful!!

“Cerrillos” is a linear holographic and it gets opaque in two coats. For my long and ring finger I topped “Cerrillos” with a stunning glitter from Homei “17T”. Homei is a Taiwanese brand I think and I got this polish, along with 3 others, from a friend in Japan 🙂  All my photos are taken indoors sadly, with flash, but at least you can see some of the holo effect.

My bottle of “Cerrillos” I bought from Edgy Polish and I got Homei from a friend in Japan. I really don’t know if they have any retailers outside Asia or if you can order direct from them.

Majestic purple with a tone of magenta, shimmer and a scattered holo ❤  that’s my decription of A England “Crown of thistles” from their Elizabeth & Mary collection.

Two easy coats plus top

Two easy coats plus top

This polish has a smooth formula that applies like butter, two easy coats and you’re done 🙂

For this look I also applied black holo rhinestones. I put them on when my top coat is still wet, usually I don’t need to glue them. Theses rhinestones I bought from Twinkled T.

A little closer, look at the holo effect

A little closer, look at the magenta flash!

Unfortunately it’s very dark at winter here in Sweden so most days I don’t have time to photograph my nails in daylight, so all these photos is taken with flash. I hope the sun comes out tomorrow so I can see the real holo effect.
