Today I’ve created a cute turtle mani in different blue shades and textures. I’ve also embellished the mani with a little turtle made of Fimo. Read the rest of this entry

Chartreuse thermal
Today I have a yellow/green polish to show you. This is a polish from Essence that I’ve got from a dear friend on IG. I wore this mani last week but never got around to write a blog post about it but it’s very suitable for Green Wednesday at Vacker & Underbar 🙂
“Charlie seen in green” shifts from green (when cold) to greenish yellow (when hot), aka Chartreuse. Chartreuse isn’t really my top choice of color but this surprised me a little. I liked it more than I first thought I would.
I decided to stamp over it, as I was dying to try my new stamping polishes from Mundo de Unas. I’ve painted three thin coats of Essence “Charlie seen in green” and then I stamped with Moyou “Mother Nature” plate 01 with Mundo de Unas in no 40 “Light gold”.
Now you’d better jump to Vacker & Underbar to see more green manis 🙂
Green leaves
Today’s mani has a fresh and springy vibe to it. I love spring, the light returns, everything turns green and begin to live again ❤
Anyway I’ve started out with Love, Angeline “Stone Table” as a base and then I’ve stamped a leave pattern from the plate Explorer 21 from Moyou London. As a stamping polish I’ve used the almost neon green “Tinker Bell” from Glam Polish. I bought both these polishes from Norway Nails when they had their New Year Sale a couple of weeks ago.
Love, Angeline “Stone Table” is a white crelly holo with blue and green shimmer filled with iridiscent glitter. The formula was a bit on the thick side but still okay, just be careful when you applie it. I think I got too thick layers on some nails but on some other nails it applied perfect so I think it was me who was doing it wrong.
Glam Polish continues to be one of my favorite indie brands! Every bottle I’ve tried so far (6) is perfect! The formula, the application, the pigmentation, well nothing disappoints me! “Tinker Bell” is no exception. A vibrant lime green, almost neon with silver shimmer. Perfect! And it stamps well!! 🙂
Flower nails
I have a lot of stamping plates but rarely use them 😦 so I’ve decided to do more stamped manicures in 2015. Practise makes perfect, doesn’t it?!?
For this manicure I’ve used Crows Toes “L’il miss Sunshine”, Chick Pick Polish “Golden Meadow”, a little China Glaze “Fairy Dust” (just one thin coat over green “Golden Meadow”) as a base and then stamped it with OPI “Do you have this color in Stock-holm?” . The stamping plate I used is Princess 01 from Moyou and I chose a flower pattern.
Crows Toes “L’il Miss Sunshine” is a beautiful purple shimmer polish with Microsoft flakes/shimmer that shifts in green, silver and violet blue. I have three coats on my pictures.
Chick Pick Polish “Golden Meadow” is a warm golden to olive green chrome polish. Two coats plus one thin coat of China Glaze “Fairy Dust” to add a little sparkle to match the purple.
I think this mani turned out to be very spring-like, I think of tulips when I see my nails and I just love tulips!

A spring-like mani in the wait for spring, yes I wait for spring as early as January 😉
You can buy Crows Toes from many shops, this bottle I bought from Harlow & Co. Chick Pick Polish is only available from Kari’s shop. This particular bottle I’ve got for review/swatch.
