It’s soon Valentine’s day and I thought it was time for some pink nails 🙂
Ahmaaaaahzing pink! “For the love of Lisa” by Hare Polish
This is Hare Polish “For the love of Lisa”, a gorgeous pink jelly with different sizes of matte glitter and also iridescent flakies! This is so gorgeous! This is the first polish from Hare Polish I try and I’m not disappointed 🙂 I ordered three bottles when Nicole had a restock in her Etsy shop. The best way to find out when she restocks is to follow Hare Polish on either Instagram or Facebook.
Gorgeous pink glitter infused with iridescent flakes as well
For this mani I painted three thin coats of “For the love of Lisa” and for my accent I first painted two coats of a plain pink (“Bubblegum Pink” from Apolosophy). I applied fast drying top coat on my ring finger, waited 20-25 minutes for it to dry and then applied swirl vinyls from Twinkled T, painted a fairly thick coat of “For the love of Lisa” and immediately removed the vinyls. After a while I applied top coat.
“For the love of Lisa” dries semi-matte. I first applied “Glitter Food Top Coat” from Nail Pattern Boldness to even out the texture and then my favorite Glisten & Glow “HK Girl Fast drying top coat”.
I buy my Glitter Food Top Coat from Edgy Polish and HK Girl Fast drying top coat from Hypnotic Polish. But of course you can buy it directly from Glisten & Glow as well but I’ve never done that.
Swirls done with swirl vinyls from Twinkled T
Gorgeous color changing glitter, it’s like having a rainbow on your nails!
This weekend this gorgeous color shanging glitter topper has been on my nails. This is “Happy Wife, Happy Life” from Darling Diva Polish. This polish is truly amazing, it’s purple, pink, blue, green and even yellow depending how the light hits it. I have one coat over black here. On my ring finger I have used a cyclone vinyl from Twinkled T to make this swirly effect. I think it went out relly cool!
It’s so gorgeous even in the bottle
Pink, purple to blue, and in the bottle you can even see yellow! Beautiful!!
More blue is showing here.
Bluish green …
Color changes in the sun
Indoors with flash, you can really see the green
A closer look of my cyclone pattern, photo indoors, mostly blue showing here.
There’s no snow in the south of Sweden where I live, it’s just grey and dark 😦 and today I’m sporting grey nails as well. Not just an ordinary grey but a stunning grey crelly/holo polish from Glam Polish called “Avalanche”. To sparkle it up a bit I added swirls with nail vinyls from Twinkled T and Glam Polish “Bewitched”. Using nail vinyls is easy nail art for beginners. Just make sure your polish base is dry before you start!
Glam Polish “Avalanche”, photo with flash
This mani was tricky to photograph … No natural light in the evenings (and I don’t yet have a light box) and with flash I get the holo finish to show but the swirl patterns isn’t showing very well. On the other hand a photo without flash gets quite dark but then the swirl pattern is showing.
No flash, dark picture but here you can see the nice swirl pattern.
Strangely enough my pictures is showing much more blue tone to the polish than in real life and in daylight. And yeah, I haven’t figured out photo editing programs yet. You just have to bare with me ’til I figure this whole photographing thing out.
I have bought both bottles, “Avalanche” and “Bewitched” from Edgy Polish.
A little of the holo effect is showing …
“Avalanche” has great formula, this is two coats over Aqua Fix base coat, plus top coat.
